Chinese Panda coins and medals
Chinese Panda coins are bullion and proof issued coins produced by the Peoples Republic of China. These coins were first Issued in the Year 1982 with the first Gold Panda coin. Although no denomination was listed on the Panda. The mints and the banks are said to recognise these first pandas as coins. 1983 saw the introduction of the Silver Panda coin. Coins are also issued in bronze/copper, platinum and palladium. There are a tremendous array of varieties, date differences, frosting’s and commemorative coins and medals that make collecting pandas both fun and interesting. Each year the mints make changes to the series Panda side (reverse) keeping the keen interest of both investors and collectors alike.
