The gold 1978 Hong Kong Horse obverse features a Crowned bust facing right Lettering: QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND 1978 by Engraver:Arnold Machin.
The reverse of the coins depicts the Horse in centre prancing on the cloud, Hong Kong on top, denomination down below with the lettering: HONG KONG 港 香 $1000
