The gold 1987 Hong Kong Rabbit obverse features a Crowned bust facing right Lettering: QUEEN ELIZABETH THE SECOND 1978 by Engraver:Arnold Machin.

The reverse of the coins depicts the Large Rabbit, Hong Kong on top, denomination down below with the lettering: HONG KONG 港 香 $1000
