The 2002 Chinese Platinum 100 Yuan Panda Coins were issued commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Chinese Panda Gold Coin.

The obverse has the design of the 2002 Gold panda walking through the bamboo with the 100 Yuan face value displayed.

The reverse displays the design of the inaugural issued Chinese 1982 Gold panda.

A maximum of 20,000 pieces were to have been minted. Although with many of the Chinese Planda issues. It is doubtful issues were minted to their totals.
