2003 Macau Grand Prix Commemorative Gold Coins
To commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Macau Grand Prix, the Monetary Authority of Macao will issue, as limited edition, a set of two coins with nominal value of: one coin with value of MOP500 made by 22 karats gold, weight 7.96g with and a diameter of 22 mm; another coin with value of MOP50 made by silver, with 24 karats gold-coated hologram, a diameter of 38.6 mm and weight of 28.28g. The numbers of issues of these coins are 2000 and 5000 respectively, of which 300 gold coins and 1000 silver coins will have numbering.

These commemorative coins are round in shape with gear-like edges, where both sides featured the name ’50th Macau Grand Prix’ plus respective figures and names.

These 2003 Macau Grand Prix Commemorative Gold Coins come with their original mint issued boxes and certificates of authenticity.
