Design of the coin:
Obverse design:
The set of gold commemorative coin bears the common obverse of the National Emblem of the People’s Republic of China, the title of PRC and the year date.
Reverse design:
The “Shou Ju Mao Die” coins include a 5g round gold coin and a 30g round silver coin, which will be issued on March 22nd. The reverse of the gold and silver coins feature a longevity stone, auspicious flowers, a cat, a pair of butterflies, the idiom “shou ju mao die” in Chinese, implying longevity by homophones in Chinese pronunciation, and the face value.
Specifications and mintage of the coins:
1. 5g round gold coins are proof in quality, 20mm in diameter, 80Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and contains 5 grams of pure gold. The total mintage 30000 pieces.
2. 30g round silver coins are proof in quality, 40mm in diameter, 10 Yuan in face value, 99.9% in fineness and contains 30 grams of pure silver. The total mintage is 60000 pieces.
